My son John had Asperger‘s syndrome recently October 14, 2025. He died of complications pulmonary John was also Deaf but he did drive and he did work even though he seemed very normal in certain aspects. I saw the other side when he was in his home environment or in my presence he had from childhood been aggressive and disruptive in every school. He was in eventually at 17 he had to start medication. It took many years before we found the right cocktail to calm him down when he did have outburst it helped in many ways and yet it destroyed him in other ways, made him get very heavy and his weight gain constantly eating Very lethargic couldn’t open his eyes at times or walk without feeling weak at night after taking his medications eating all night, constantly hungry even when he was half asleep wanting to eat it has been a struggle, and I know many out there can relate police showing up every place I lived
